Anlässlich des heutigen Geburtstages von Nina Simone starten Michael Georg Bregel und ich eine neue Reihe unseres „Haiku meets Art“ Gemeinschaftsprojektes. Konkret werden wir dieses Mal im monatlichen Rhythmus BiVIP‘s präsentieren, wobei ich die Illustrationen gestalte und Michael ein Kurzgedicht in Haiku-Form schreibt. Die Illustrationen werden jeweils über unsere Social-Media Kanäle als auch auf dem queeren Kulturportal pinkdot-life.de erscheinen. Dort findet man übrigens auch unsere erste Reihe, der im vergangenen Jahr erschienenen Haiku-Illustrationen, die queer-politische Themen zum Inhalt hatten.
On the occasion of Nina Simone’s birthday today, Michael Georg Bregel and I are starting a new series of our “Haiku meets Art” joint project. Specifically, this time we will present BiVIPs on a monthly basis, with me designing the illustrations and Michael writing a short poem in haiku form. The illustrations will appear on our social media channels as well as on the queer culture portal pinkdot-life.de. Incidentally, you can also find our first series of haiku illustrations published last year, which dealt with queer political issues.
